Key stage reached for Watserside North Aylesbury

Plans to regenerate the area of Aylesbury town centre known as Waterside North moved closer with the decision of the Strategic Development Management Committee to grant outline planning permission for the first phase. This decision will now be referred to the Secretary of State for a final say.

Kevin Scott Consultancy is working with Aylesbury Vale District and Buckinghamshire County Councils on this project to deliver mixed use redevelopment in the town.

Beech Lodge School – new school moves closer

The planning committee of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead resolved that planning permission should be granted for a new school at Stubbings near Maidenhead.

We successfully argued that there are very special circumstances for allowing this development within the greenbelt. These revolve around the wonderful work the school does.

Amphitheatre Consent

In something of a first for the company, we received planning permission for an amphitheatre as part of the Chapel Arches Project in Maidenhead for Shanly Homes.
The amphitheatre will be an attractive public space next to the York Stream which is being substantially upgraded as part of the Maidenhead Waterways Project. The amphitheatre will be part of Phase 2. Phase 1 commenced in August this year.

Permission Granted for 2 New Homes in Ashtead, Surrey

We have recently secured planning consent for two new dwellings in Ashtead within Mole Valley District Council.  Working closely with Herbert Developments and the architect MacDonald Design we negotiated planning permission for the replacement of a small dwelling with two four-bed properties in an attractive residential area of Ashtead  known locally as “The Lanes.

Planning Consent secured for 23 flats at Botwell Lane, Hayes

Kevin Scott Consultancy has secured planning consent for a residential development of 23 flats for Shepherds Bush Housing Group.  The development comprised 11 1-bed, 10 2-bed and 2 3-bed flats at Golden Cross, Botwell Lane, Hayes and was designed by Paper Projects Architecture.

Appeal win – Elmbridge

We are very pleased to have won an appeal on behalf of our client SGT Developments for 7 houses in Esher.

The appeal was focused on the size of some of the gardens within the scheme. We successfully argued that the proposed gardens were sufficient to meet the needs of future residents and would not cause harm to the character of the area.

An outline planning application was submitted on 17 June 2014 for Phase 1 of the regeneration proposals for an area known as Waterside North, Aylesbury on behalf of our client Aylesbury Vale District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council and in conjunction with bluur architecture.
