Where’s Wally

Kay likes to run and can often be found running around the roads and trails of Surrey and Hampshire. This weekend she went for something slightly different by running a 24 hour relay race. In a team of 8 they ran continuously for 24 hours clocking up 140 miles with Kay running 20 of those miles. This was all done dressed as Where’s Wally. Congratulations to Kay and the team.

Holborn Tower

We are pleased to have secured planning permission for an upgraded entrance to Holborn Tower in High Holborn in association with the refurbishment of the tower which is currently underway by 21 Construction.  The approved design will give life to what was a very tired and uninviting entrance and improve  security through passive surveillance and increased activity.

Kevin Scott attended the topping out ceremony at The Exchange in Aylesbury town centre on 19th April.  The mixed-use development is being built by Durkan in partnership with AVDC and, when complete, will include apartments and restaurants and a new public realm.

We advised AVDC on the initial outline consent and have continued to advise the Council as landowner on planning matters.  We are also acting for Buckinghamshire County Council to help bring forward the elements of the Waterside North master ...

The Shed, Ferry Road, Southwold

Kay Collins has secured planning permission this month for the replacement of a locally listed building in the seaside town of Southwold, in conjunction with Keith Hiley Associates on behalf of a private client.

The site lies within the Southwold Conservation Area and the existing locally listed building, although of poor quality, was considered to make an important contribution to the conservation area.  The redevelopment proposals needed to balance the conservation issues relating to the loss of a locally listed building ...

We have recently secured a recommendation to approve an application for 42 dwellings on a site in Reading Borough Council on behalf of Beaulieu Homes.

The current application was submitted following refusal of a larger scheme for 62 dwellings which was refused for 15 reasons including issues such as highways, flooding, design and housing mix.  We worked alongside the client and MZA architects in preparing the revised scheme which addressed the previous reasons for refusal as well as dealing with the ...
